Beyond the SDLC: Rethinking software development with AI
The software lifecycle was built around a human limit. People can only hold so much of a system in their heads, so work gets split into tickets, handoffs, and sign-offs. AI coding tools speed up each step but leave that structure in place. This session shows how a system with deep codebase understanding turns a business requirement into an epic, a technical design, and validated code. The bottleneck then moves from engineering capacity to how fast the business can decide what to build. We call this operating model the Agentic PDLC. Youā€™ll leave with a clear view of how product and engineering roles, team structure, and process change when development runs at epic scale.
